A VERY WHITE CHRISTMAS !
Some
ten inches of snow fell during the day.
I took my annual photo-walk just before dark, enjoying the stark beauty of sleeping trees . . .
Delightful silence,
The
familiar sense of mystery,
— even a little awe.
Not
to slip! No one would hear a call for help down here . . .
The forest is hypnotic,
. . . and the woods enticing.
But there are promises to keep, and people to call,
and wish a Merry Christmas!
